The Community Legal Services Quality Mark (CLS QM)

UNITE became the first community mediation service in the UK to be awarded the Community Legal Services Quality Mark (CLS QM) in 2003.

The CLS QM is the Quality Mark for Family and Community Mediation services.

The CLS Quality Mark standards cover 7 key quality areas, known as the Quality Mark framework. These are:

1. Access to Service
2. Seamless Service
3. Running the Organisation
4. People Management
5. Running the Service
6. Meeting Clients’ Needs
7. Commitment to Quality

The Quality Mark means that everyone who uses UNITE's free, confidential mediation service to help them resolve their dispute can be confident that the service they receive meets minimum quality standards, set by the the Community Legal Service.
