UNITE work with young people facing homelessness due to intra family
disputes in Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Hambleton. We
contribute towards the prevention of youth homelessness. UNITE aim to
empower young people to reach their own solutions concerning their housing
needs. UNITE work with young people and their families surrounding issues
that have presented the housing need. Download

UNITE has a proven track record in resolving intra family conflict,
which aids quick resolution for all concerned. The service UNITE provides
enhances the options available for the young person and their family/carers.
Homelessness mediation aims to reduce blocks to communication and allow
an understanding to be achieved between all parties and aid the young
person to realise their personal needs with positive support networks.
The service will, in addition to contributing towards reducing homeless
applications, aim to improve intra family relationships between young
people and their families/carers enabling young people to make the transition
to independent accommodation with positive support networks, enabling
sustainability.
